Christmas Fundraiser!

Flourish Dance Studios will be hosting a special event this year which will be taking place on Saturday, December 3rd 2022. Mark your calendars! It will be a Christmas family and friends Fundraiser in early December so you can see what your children have been up to! This will be a Showcase that will be a great opportunity to support the kids of our town, and it will be a fundraiser for the studio. This will also be our non competitive students' recital so it's a great way for family and friends to be able to see your children dance.

    The fundraiser will be in honor of my beautiful mom Vicky Rissling. She has inspired me to be the mom I always dreamed of and she is still inspiring me to this day! I love you so much mom, you are incredible.

What are we fundraising for?

• We are fundraising for money to drive down the cost of the costumes! Flourish Studios does NOT make a profit off of anything except dance fees. Anything that is extra will be going back into the children of our studio.   

• Secret Santa for the community and surrounding areas Unity/Denzil etc!-

• Unity community day care!

• Kidsport!

All money fundraised will be going to these wonderful causes!

 

What will take place?

     Friday, December 2nd a stage practice will take place at our location (that will be determined soon) with costumes and a full run through of the program. Scheduling of the run through will be released closer to the date. This is for Flourish Dance Studios Students only and closer guest dancers. Set up of chairs, decorating, and cleaning will take place this same day as well as any last minute details preparing for our event! 

 

     Saturday December 3rd will be a run through of all of our guest dancers! There will be a schedule that will also be released closer to the date so all runs smoothly for your rehearsal times. Rehearsal for all guests will be taking place in the morning. Please be prompt and ready to go.

     The doors will open at 6:00pm! Be sure to come early as all of our raffles, 50/50's, silent auction, bake sale, and donation vendors will take place before the show. Also as part of our fundraiser, flowers and stuffies will be available for your children! Don't miss out on grabbing your popcorn or snacks while a performance of a lifetime takes place. 

     Intermission will be your last chance to bid on silent auction items, purchase more 50/50's, bake sale items, flowers etc. Draws will all be announced at the end of the show before anyone leaves the building. 

     All dancers will participate in the Christmas show! Yes, even our non competitive students. This will be their showcase and a fun way to show family and friends what they have been up to. Let's spread some Christmas cheer!
 

     The talented Erika Riemer will be taking our family minis! 

     Clean up crew will then come in and help put our wonderful day to rest. A large thank you to all making this possible! 

What do Flourish Dance Studio parents bring?
Every Dance family from Flourish Dance Studios is asked to bring their fanciest dessert! YUM!  Make your FAVORITE Dessert!

No Ice cream cakes lol they will melt! Any Dessert that can sit on our table for the end of the show. 

What can you do to help?

     Closer to the date I will be looking for volunteers. As a team we work better together and can spread a lot of Christmas cheer around! Volunteering lists will be posted soon. The more parents volunteer the less there is to do! Please know it is greatly appreciated!

What to donate?
     Anything from lulu lemon bags, water bottles, blankets, scarfs, toys, purses, jewelry, tools, treat bags, BBQ supplies etc. If you hand make items we love those to! We love supporting local businesses! Think of the moms, kids to the dads and grandparents! Basically if you want it, it's always a great gift to donate! This is not a must for the dance families. If you would LIKE to donate a gift for the raffle table it would be greatly appreciated.

     This fundraiser in honor of mom and is a wonderful way to spread Christmas cheer, fundraise for the kids, donate back to the community and more! I am excited about ALL to be involved and for Flourish Dance Studios to be part of the community!
